 From the moment you step across the threshold at our bed an breakfast near the Great Smoky Mountains, you know you're someplace special. The front foyer has honey-colored hardwood floors, the living room is huge and has a gas fireplace, comfortable leather, over-stuffed furniture and a view of the Smoky Mountains through a huge picture window. The dining room also has the hardwood floors along with that fabulous mountain view through yet another huge picture window.
Out back, our guests enjoy listening to the birds and watching them feed at one of our many bird feeders. They can also enjoy the huge, uplit hickory trees and rushing waters of our backyard waterfall feature. The slate patio is covered by a pergola with subtle lighting for enjoying the cool mountain evenings outdoors. In the spring and summer, our guests will appreciate our brightly colored flower cart filled to capacity with various plants and blooms. The property is bordered by a tall hedge of hemlock that guarantees privacy for those romantic moments. The front of the property also has a rushing brook amongst the tall pine trees. There are even fish in the stream! We have two seating areas adjacent to the brook and can accommodate a picnic lunch on the front lawn.
 The rooms have inspired the same reaction from all that have seen them so far, "It's so big!" We have five oversized rooms each with its own bathroom.
Our guest services room in our main guest hallway offers an unlimited supply of ice, bottled water, sodas, snacks, coffee and tea service.
All of our rooms have fireplaces, one has a gas and the other four are electric. There are A/C units in each room that allow for individual temperature control. In addition, each room has a ceiling fan, plush spa-type robes, iron and ironing board, hair dryers, luxury linens, sitting areas, wi-fi, and cable TV, some with VCR or DVD players. We like to enourage guests to consider the house theirs during their stay. Our inn provides an atmosphere of comfort and welcoming that we have heard time and time again is not found in too many inns/B&B's.
We offer afternoon snacks for guests returning from their day's adventure and before they head off for dinner. We even have a garage for safe storage of your motorcycle, bicycles, kayaks, etc.
