May 25, Saturday: Rockin' BLOCK PARTY at Downtown is Alive at Night with dancing in the street with live bands, 7pm; KIDS on MAIN , 6-7pm Eats & treats, restaurants open, a portion of Main Street closes.

June 8, Saturday: APPALACHIAN LIFESTYLE Celebration: Main St. Protecting, preserving & developing our historical & cultural resources through a heritage themed event. Educational & entertaining, 10am-5pm
June 28, Friday: MOUNTAIN STREET DANCE, Downtown is Alive at Night . Put on your cloggin' & square dancin' shoes and enjoy an old-fashioned mountain hoe down! Live mountain music, demonstrations and instruction by local clogging teams. Refreshments, historic Courthouse lawn. 6:30-9pm
July 4, Thursday: STARS & STRIPES CELEBRATION, Main St. Shops & restaurants open, live music & entertainment, refreshments, fun for all ages throughout the downtown area. 11am-3pm

July 19, Friday: FOLKMOOT USA PARADE of NATIONS, Main St. Dancers & musicians from around the world parade on Main Street after the opening ceremonies of FOLKMOOT USA at the historic courthouse, 1pm
July 20, Saturday: INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL DAY, Main Street, Haywood County Arts Council & FOLKMOOT USA join together to present a daylong extravaganza of music, dance, crafts & food from around the world. 10am–5pm

October 12, Saturday: 30th annual CHURCH STREET ART & CRAFT SHOW, Main St. is transformed into an art & craft marketplace for this one-day event; widely known as one of the finest juried art shows in the region. Live mountain music & clogging, entertainment, food. 10am-5pm
October 19, Saturday: 25th annual APPLE HARVEST FESTIVAL, Music & dance, craft & demonstration booths, apples, cider, fresh fried pies and other apple delicacies. 10am-5pm
October 31, Thursday: TREATS on the STREET, Merchants offer treats to young children, 5-7pm
