Less than 10 miles from our bed and breakfast is Maggie Valley, a favorite mountain resort town for families for many years. There are plenty of locally-owned shops to browse. You won't find a shopping mall with the usual lineup of trendy stores here. What you will find are one-of-a-kind boutiques and specialty shops, art galleries, and plenty of places to recharge by sampling the perfect piece of fudge or relaxing on the porch with a tall glass of iced tea – sweet, of course. For skiers and snowboarders looking for a thrill, our Cat Cage Terrain Park delivers with ramps, rails and boxes. They take snowmaking seriously.
